Offline Downgrade and Upgrade Android Version

To flash the phone, you need

Flash tool: Download here
Download = Flashtool ( Mediafire )
PASSWORD = electrodroid

The firmware (Make sure to use the correct firmware)
Download = E15i(X8) - ver 1.6 ( Mediafire )
PASSWORD = electrodroid
Download = E15i(X8) - ver 2.1 ( Mediafire )
PASSWORD = electrodroid

For start flashing proscess:

1. Extract flashtool in your pc.. example in C:\FLASH-TOOL
2. Install Falshtool.exe


a. ok, after install flashtool we will see file like this


3. Copy older version firmware in flashtool firmwares folder..


4. Launch X10FlashTool.exe from flashtool folder, and than go to Advanced > Bundle Creation


5. Click on dots(...).


6. Choose path firmware and click "open"


7. Section device,version,branding..
Example:
-Device:X8i(phone type)
-Version:2.1.1.A.0.6(depending on firmware version)
-Branding:1241-4091-Customized_RU_World_2(Name of firmware)

8. Wait for a while then you will got *.ftf file in firmwares folder

Install *.ftf files


1. Copy *.ftf file in firmware folder in Flashtool.

2. Click "Flash" button from flashtool then select *.ftf file firmware and click "OK"

3. Wait for awhile. When process finish, pop up will appear (don`t click on that!!!)


4.And then, follow the instructions below..
- Unplug your USB cable from PC
- Power off your phone
- Press back button and keep your finger on button
- Plug USB cable to PC
- Check if the green LED appear
- On popup message press "OK" button
- When "Found at USB/........" appear on flash tool you may release "back button", sit down, relax and wait.


If message "Start Flashing" everything`s ok.. If Not, repeat again..

6. Then unplug/plug USB cable

7. DONE

Step 1: Download and install an emulator.

Root : Automate Installation
1. Download attached file "SuperOneClick".

3. Connect phone to "PC" and select "Charge Phone".

4. Open "SuperOneClick" and select "Root".


5. Wait!

xRecovery : Manual Installation
- Phone must be rooted
- Download and install Titanium Backup. Run it and press Problems to install busybox or you can install standalone busybox in market !
- Download attached file and unpack the recovery package in to sdcard

- Use Root Explorer to remount /system rw
- Copy the content of the package (3 files) into /system/bin folder

How to use xRecovery :
- Reboot your phone !
- Press BACK button few times right after white SE logo appears.
- Use VOLUME-UP and VOLUME-DOWN to browse, HOME to select, BACK to go back.
- Done..


If xRecovery not effective on xperia x10 mini pro you, try using CWM recovery

Requirements:
Windows PC
USB Cable
Phone driver installed
Android Version 2.1 Stock ROM (2.1.1.A.0.6) (May work on Froyo and Gingerbread ROM's but any custom ROM should have a recovery already installed)

Usage:
You need to set your phone in Debugging Mode.
Connect your phone to your computer
Open up install.bat and follow the instructions inside that.

CWM Usage:
When booting your phone and when the 'Sony Ericsson' letters appear, press and release continuously the 'back' button.
Once you are in the CWM recovery, use the volume keys to navigate upwards / downwards, the 'home' or camera button key to select, the 'back' key to go back.
