Root, Upgrade And Customize Sony Ericsson Xperia Android Phones

Make sure your Android Have a Latest Version before rooting..
For Update your Android, Use Sony Ericsson Pc Companion / SEUS / Flashtool
Download = Use Sony Ericsson Pc Companion
Download = Sony Ericsson Update Servise[SEUS] ( Mediafire )

Download = Flashtool ( Mediafire )

Root : Automate Installation
1. Download attached file "SuperOneClick".

2. Enable "USB Debug".( Setting - Application - Development )


3. Connect phone to "PC" and select "Charge Phone".

4. Open "SuperOneClick" and select "Root".


5. Wait!

6. When it is done, reboot.

xRecovery : Manual Installation
- Phone must be rooted
- Download and install Titanium Backup. Run it and press Problems to install busybox or you can install standalone busybox in market !
- Download attached file and unpack the recovery package in to sdcard

Download = XRecovery ( Mediafire )

Download = XRecovery X10 mini / X10 mini Pro ( Mediafire )

- Use Root Explorer to remount /system rw
- Copy the content of the package (3 files) into /system/bin folder
1.busybox
2.chargemon
3.xrecovery.tar

How to use xRecovery :
- Reboot your phone !
- Press BACK button few times right after white SE logo appears.
- Use VOLUME-UP and VOLUME-DOWN to browse, HOME to select, BACK to go back.
- Done..


If xRecovery not effective on xperia x10 mini pro you, try using CWM recovery



This also includes SuperOneClick so your device does not need to be rooted now as you can do it at the time.

Requirements:
Windows PC
USB Cable
Phone driver installed
Android Version 2.1 Stock ROM (2.1.1.A.0.6) (May work on Froyo and Gingerbread ROM's but any custom ROM should have a recovery already installed)

Usage:
You need to set your phone in Debugging Mode.
Connect your phone to your computer
Open up install.bat and follow the instructions inside that.

CWM Usage:
When booting your phone and when the 'Sony Ericsson' letters appear, press and release continuously the 'back' button.
Once you are in the CWM recovery, use the volume keys to navigate upwards / downwards, the 'home' or camera button key to select, the 'back' key to go back.
